Trywydd Privacy Policy

Trywydd is built and operated by Curro Capital LLC. This page explains what information Trywydd collects, how it's used, and who can see it.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (we never see or store your actual password). When you use the app, we store the goals, habits, action steps, reflections, and journal entries you enter yourself, along with any vision board photos you choose to upload — those images are stored and tied to your account. We do not collect location data, contacts, or anything from your device beyond what you type or upload into the app.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure database provider. Access to your data is restricted to your own account through database-level security rules, meaning no other Trywydd user can see your goals, reflections, or personal entries.

Connecting an AI assistant (optional)

Trywydd offers an optional feature that lets you connect your own AI assistant — Claude, or any other tool that supports MCP — to your goals, progress, reflections, and today's tasks, so you can ask questions about your own data in plain language. This is entirely optional and off by default. If you choose to connect it, you log in using your own Trywydd email and password through a secure, industry-standard process (OAuth).

A connection always includes reading that data. When you connect, you are asked separately whether to also allow the assistant to create, edit and delete your goals, habits, action steps and to-dos. That permission is off unless you tick it, and you can connect without it. Access tokens you create by hand under Advanced in the app are always read-only.

Connecting sends the data above to the AI provider you chose, where it is handled under that provider's own privacy policy. We do not send your data to any AI provider unless you connect one. You can disconnect at any time from that tool's connector settings, or by revoking a token you created in Trywydd.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your personal entries, goals, or reflections to train any AI model. We do not display ads in Trywydd.

Exporting and deleting your data

You can export a full copy of your data at any time from within the app. If you'd like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
